What Is Motion Design?

A great short video explaining (through … motion design!) what it is, what makes it different to other fields, it’s history, and where it is today. The film was madeto help promote the idea of a motion design exhibition center in Paris.

This project proposes to open the world of motion design to the general public. This is a non-profit project. Our goal is to create a real space devoted to motion design. Students, professionals and anyone interested could discover artists, meet and learn. This centre will also provide an opportunity to promote artists in other design departments so the different graphic design worlds could cross. To make it real we need your support! The more we are, the more the project’s got chances to exist!

All good artists are the undisputed rulers of their art. Novelists or painters are godlike tyrants who create every molecule of their work out of their own beings. Can two artists therefore collaborate, or must one always be the brush and the other the canvas?
